Saint Pius X is an elementary school located in the village of Ngoya, Cameroon. The school has an average on 300 students and seven teachers from kindergarten to sixth grade.
The climate in Ngoya is tropical, features a lengthy wet season, it rains along nine months out the year. and Saint Pius X elementary school presents important damages in their classrooms.
Not only they get wet many times a week, their dreams and love for school also get wet and are sometimes washed away with rain water running toward the river.
RENOVATION OF SAINT PIUS X ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The project’s budget was $25,000.00. These monies were used to change the damaged roof, fix walls and floors, put new chalkboards, provide desks to teachers, and create a small library. Parents, teachers and students helped during the work done for the benefit of this elementary school.
By rebuilding and modernizing elementary schools in rural areas of Cameroon, Foundation Neme would like to make school enjoyable and efficient.
